Q: Can I install the single-computer license on more than one computer?
A: The software can be installed on one physical computer only. The legal license prohibits transfer to another physical computer.
From a technical perspective the license is tied to the name of your computer. So if you replace your computer hardware but keep the same computer name, the software will continue to work.
Q: What if I rename my computer?
A: Your single-computer license will continue to work. The first time you install the software it decrypts a digital certificate and stores it in the registry. The certificate allows you to run the software on that computer permanently, even if you rename the computer later.
